• Objective: To design & develop a mobile
based EMR solutions for doctors / physicians.
• This application will provide doctors real-time
information about their patients on their
mobiles / Smartphone anytime, irrespective of
their locations.
• Doctors should have an easy access to
patient’s health details in case of emergency.

3. Summary
• Customer: The client is a USA based EMR vendor
offering web based EMR software for Physicians and
healthcare professional.
• Business need: Mobile based application will help
doctors and administrative staff to access certain
features of their EMR software such as Appointment
Scheduler, Patient Demographics, Medication, etc on
their mobiles. This application would provide great
convenience to end-users as they can use mobile
device to access information from anywhere
• Project Duration: 2 man - months.

5. Login Screen
•The doctor needs to use his name and password to
login into the application
•If required the password can be reset through Menu
option.
•The application can have a secrete question which
acts as security for login by unknown user.

6. Today’s Appointments
•This is a welcome screen wherein it shows doctors
the appointment for that particular day.
•Doctor can edit or cancel the appointment with help
of menu option.
•Doctor can also get a reminder alarm at particular
intervals before an appointment.

7. Appointment Scheduler
•This screen allows doctor to view his appointment for
different dates / days.
•The doctor needs to select a date and accordingly all
the appointments for that particular date are
displayed.
•Thus, doctor can view his past as well as future
appointments.
•A doctor can also schedule new appointments from
menu option for a particular date.

8. Appointment Details
•The doctor needs to click on the patient’s name in the
appointment screen to view his /her appointment
details.
•The doctor can edit any field in the appointment
screen from the menu function button.
•The doctor can reschedule or cancel any particular
appointment from the menu option.
•New appointment for patients not registered with
doctor can also be taken.

9. Login Screen
•In case of emergency or home visit, doctors can add
details on new patients on mobiles.
•The doctor can use registration form to quickly
register a patient.
•After completing the form, the doctor needs to click
on the submit button in menu option. Then only the
registration number for new patient is generated.

10. Patient Details - Demographics
•The doctor can view patient details in this screen.
•This screen is divided into five sub-modules wherein
doctors can get all the relevant information of the
patients.
•This first sub-module includes the demographics of
the patient.
•This information becomes handy incase of
emergency.

11. Patient Details - Complaints
•The doctor can use this screen to note down the
problems patient is facing.
•The doctor can also note the symptoms of disease /
injury, etc, if any.
•In this screen doctor can also include the general
allergies and drug allergies the patient is suffering
from.
•Accordingly doctor can prescribe medicines to the
patient.
•This data can also be used by doctor later on as a
reference.

12. Patient Details - Images
•The doctor can store various images like digital x-rays,
scanned documents, etc of the patient for his own
reference.
•The doctor can select a particular image and enlarge
it’s size with help of menu option.
•The doctor can have multiple images (e.g: Pre –
operative & Post Operative) stored for a particular
patient.

13. Patient Details – M-Prescription
•The doctor can issue a prescription from this module.
•The doctor needs to select the drug and relevant
details of the drug (E.g: Qty, UOM, Frequency, Intake
form, etc)
•Doctors can include their own notes for particular
drug.
•Multiple drugs can be added under one prescription.
•Various options like cancelling a particular drug,
editing the details, etc are possible with the help of
menu button.

14. Patient Details – M-Prescription
