- Click “Get Skype”
- Click “Get Skype for Windows”
- Click “download now”
- Click “save file”
- Scrolling down the web page gives some help as to what to do.
- Click “run”
- Click “options”
- Untick these options then click “I agree - install”
- Click 'start skype”
- Enter your details
- Click “i agree – create account”
- Click on “echo / sound test service”
- Click on the green “call” near the middle of the screen
- Type a name and click “search directory” to search
- You may need to enter a username directly. Click on “add contact”
- Write a message for them
- Click on “call” to call them
- Click on “video call” instead of “call” gives this
- If they call you this window appears
- To exit right click on the skype icon (green with a tick) and then left click on “quit”
- Click “quit”
