2. ВІКТОРИНА "GREAT BRITAIN"
Тема: Great Britain
Цілі:
Перевірити знання учнів за темою «Great Britain».
Практикувати аудітивну компетенцію учнів.
Розширювати освітній кругозір учнів з англійської історії,
географії,літератури.
Розвивати крос-культурну компетенцію та креативне мислення учнів.
Виховувати повагу до іноземних культур.
Обладнання: карта Великої Британії, плакати , малюнки, жетони, призи,
дипломи.
Вікторина складається з трьох турів: І тур — Бліц-турнір. II тур — Хто? Що? Де?
III тур — Скорочені імена.
Учням пропонується ряд запитань і цікавих завдань.
За правильну відповідь дається 2 бали, неповну відповідь — 1 бал, неправильну
відповідь — 0 балів. У кінці гри бали сумуються, визначається переможець.

Учитель проводить швидке індивідуальне опитування з метою визначити
кращого ерудита.

У повсякденному спілкуванні ми ніколи не називаємо один одного повним ім'ям,
частіше вживаємо скорочене. Тому учням доцільно знати як повні, так і скорочені
форми англійських імен.
На плакаті в колонку записані повні власні імена, в другу колонку — скорочені
імена. Учні повинні з'єднати повне ім'я зі скороченим.
