So what is painful problem that we are trying solve here? As a soccer player, you want to play soccer as a team and you want to play against another team. So what will you do? You pick the phone and call your friend: “Hey, do you want to play next week?” or you call the field owner and say “Could you arrange the game for us at the weekend?”. It sounds cool, right? However, there is a problem coming in. There is a mismatch in level between the 2 teams. If you play against a very good team, you feel like too tired, too much, and no fun. Yet if you play against a lousy team, you feel like waste of time and it is not fun any more. Another painful issue is the scheduling. You want to play at the weekend, in the morning. But the opponent team wants to play during weekdays, at night. So how to find a suitable team for your timing?[I need something to illustrate the pains]
Here is our solution. As you can see, we have a ranking table here. When you register your team, your team name will be here. You can choose another team to play against. For example, we are Contemi & PP team. We want to play against Nam Thái team. Here I click the Challenge button. So we can see the calendar of Nam Thai. Where do they play? When do they play? How often? We know the exactly timing here say 8-10pm. So if we think we can play on that time. Click on here, pick a date, enter your message, it’s optional anyway, and click the Challenge button. The other team receive your Challenge. They accepted and you are ready for the game. Is it awesome? So after the game, the 2 teams will update the score. We have a special formula to calculate the points for 2 teams. So the ranking table will reflect that. To summarize, we have a ranking table here as an indicator to measure your team performance. So you will know roughly how good your team is. Then you can find an appropriate team for play with. Say your rank is 10. So you may want to challenge another team have the same ranking, 8, 11 for example. So we solve the first problem, team level mismatch. For the second problem, as you can see, we have a mechanism with a few clicks away for your team to match the calendar and location with other teams. [We need demo, screenshots, or something easy-to-visualize and interactive here. Let’s assume no internet connection since it’s very risky to assume so. So connecting directly to the internet to do a demo is a good solution but we need something else to backup.]

Even though, we have good relationship with VIP in soccer industry, we choose Bottom-up rather than Top-up approach because we believe that Customer is key for our success. We will work with Vietnam soccer federation when the timing is just right. So we will attract the users by working directly with them. [Need something to show what is top-down and bottom-up mean]. When talking with customers, we understand their concern in playing with strangers. They are not comfortable. They wonder if the opponent team play a fair and not-too-much violent soccer? They prefer to play among people they know first. So we offer them a separate ranking table for their own group. Whenever they are ready, they are free to contact other teams outside their group to play.
