World over, leadership education is synonymous with strategic thinking and cognitive intelligence. But latest
research indicates that those abilities are only secondary. A truly exceptional leadership is elusive perhaps
because leadership abilities are tied to leader's self belief, relational skills and their world view. These patterns,
according to Anne McKee - professor of Leadership at Harvard, are deep seeded and take efforts to change.
Yet, there is little doubt that such changes create transformational leadership. Leadership that inspires people
to achieve things beyond their expectations; the one that creates great culture and brands. Like Maslow says,
“great leaders create great businesses that build great communities'. In the present industrial, political and social
contexts, we need more people who could think like responsible leaders.
With this inspiring thought, we explored and researched leadership over the past five years. We came to
develop a model and a process of obtaining leadership that we thoroughly tested. We are certain that with a
combination of cognitive, affective and motoric skills, this process will make every leader self assured and
successful in most contexts.

Aroon Joshi is founder and a professional member of ISABS. He is an OD guru with
over 45 years of experience. He is currently working as an advisor to many organizations
across sectors and as a coach to many leaders. He was a visiting faculty at IIM A, K and
ISB. Aroon has read papers on OD in the USA, UK, Australia and Singapore. Aroon is
passionate about leadership.
Rahoul Joshii is an OD expert with over 20 years of experience. He is retained by
many organizations as an OD consultant and leadership coach. He is a professional
member of ISABS. He is a certified leadership facilitator by Wiley, USA and has
conducted leadership workshops across the globe. A certified coach by ICA and
John Buchanan, he is passionate about leadership
