  infrastructure                          Low voter turnout
                                          Not demanding action from
 Weak government                          representatives
                                          Accepting mediocrity
 National (in)security high
                                       Each of us content to let things go
                                        downhill
 Federalism under threat:
                                             Self & family above everything else
  Naxals/Violence/Separatism
                                             What about future generations?
 Political system that discourages
  the young & well-meaning to join

India is not at its best               But, We Got It Here                   2
This is a unique moment in India’s history


 Let us not be silent spectators again


 Let us not lose another five years


We can create a better future
  for us and our children                     3

                 2004-09: Economic reform hostage to communism + Increased
                  insecurity
                 2009-14: What would an unstable hotch-potch mean?
             Each one matters, not just counts

             Diverse group, across professions
             Not all signed-up BJP members, but believes that BJP best for India
             Will spread across India



             Spread word & mobilise support: socially, within peer groups
             Two-way dialog: inputs into policy thinking
             Ongoing: does not stop with elections, continual engagement
                   We should, can and will act. Now.

 Middle class: 30 crore +                   Only 38 crore (of eligible 58

  Goal: Getting BJP to win 200 seats on its own in 2009
     Need to win marginally lost seats
     Need to revive in urban areas
     Retain 130 of the seats from 2004
     Focus on winning additional 50-75 seats
