Description TCS Trimatrix EDW is a BI project, which includes consolidating all the corporate
data from various sources / systems (oracle applications, SAP, Siebel etc) into
centralized data warehouse. The data is thus extracted,staged, cleaned, transformed,
modeled and reported to the business users subsequently, which helps them in taking
quick and accurate decision in this agile environment. Full form of the BOARD is
Business Outcome Analysis and Review Dashboards. It is driven by Key
Performance Indicators (KPI) defined by Leadership & Governance team of TCS.
The KPI values are shown in Balanced Scorecards (BSC) and further drill downs are
provided for dashboards and additional analytics. User level access is restricted as per
the roles of them. The information shown in BSCs and Dashboards include Finance,
Internal Process,HR etc. data of TCS.

Responsibilities To Analyze and check feasibility of new requirements
To integrate data from various source systems, development of dimensional

has to be migrated to 64 bit version of 9.0.1 on 64 bit HP-UXOS(IA).

Upgrading contents of repository and export/import of Users
Create test plan and documents for functional and data testing for Ultimatix-
EDW team and execute it
Identification of files(flat files and config files) and moving them manually to the

Testing of data after executing the workflows in the new version.
Contribution Successfully completed the upgrading process and received appreciation from

Responsibilities Checking feasibility to generate the reports in PPT format using Cognos go office.
Automation of uploading flat files directly in the database without having manual
data fixes for the manual data received from the users through shared folders
using SFTP and Informatica.

Tuned the cognos report queries to have better performance by pushing some
front end calculations to back end using Informatica mappings.
