About
The University
Spread over an expansive area of
40 acres on NH-2 Chhata, Mathura
Sanskriti University is just 116km
from Delhi. The state of the art
infrastructure and architectural
excellence helps the university make
a strong impression. The university
has been established with the idea of
“Excellence in Life” of the students.
Amidst the plethora of universities in
Uttar Pradesh, Sanskriti University
has made its mark felt.
Students can choose from a wide
selection of programmes. Whether
it is management, hospitality,
science, or art, students have the
freedom of choice. Gone are the
days when students used to choose
just the mainstream fields to pursue
their higher studies. Today they
want to explore new horizons and
that’s exactly what we encourage at
Sanskriti University.
Apart from knowledge in the
classroom, students get additional
learning through dedicated and well
equipped laboratories. Students can
also take advantage of well stocked
library that has a wide selection of
text books, journals, and reference
books.
At Sanskriti University we are very
strict about faculty selection, thus,
ensuring that only the best teachers
get recruited. We understand
the immense contribution that
teachers can make in shaping the
future of students, therefore all our
teachers are highly qualified and
dedicated. The faculty brings with
themselves the perfect amalgamation
of competence, experience, and
expertise to make sure that students
get to the pinnacle of success.
Admission of students is done on
selective basis. Admission tests are
conducted and students are enrolled
in various courses based on their
merit and performance in these tests.
We aim to generate an environment
that fosters technology incubation
and leads to effective R&D.
We believe in value based education
which helps students become a better
person and do something constructive
for the society. At Sanskriti University
you get the promise of world class
education.

Since inception in the year 2010,
Sanskriti Society has been striving
hard to improve the status of higher
education in the field of Technology,
Hospitality, Humanities, Sciences and
Management in Mathura and Agra
region through Sanskriti University,
its academic wing.
I feel glad to note that our team
has realized that we cannot remain
confined within the small periphery
of learning as is presently the case
especially in western U.P. If we want
to prove ourselves competitive, at
least at the National level in the
higher education sector, the horizon
of learning has to be broadened
extensively. The Sanskriti is taking
requisite steps and trying to bring
within its fold the best intellectuals
in the field of education who can
definitely contribute towards course
correction in terms of pedagogy, use
of modern teaching aids and provide
an exposure to the teaching- learning
process in the best institutions like
IITs & IIMs through presentation of
lectures, video-conferencing etc.
I am glad to know that the parents/
guardians of the students studying
in different schools of the University
have appreciated the positive
difference in the manner of imparting
education in our university as
compared to other institutions in this
area and have been spreading good
words of mouth.
As we have set our vision towards
achieving excellence in the field of
education, it is very heartening to
find that Sanskriti has entered into
International Collaborations with
many Universities of repute in Europe
and USA. The University is also
accreditated by IAO of USA.
I wish Sanskriti University a grand
success in the years to come. I would
like to invite the students with their
parents/guardians to visit its campus
and see for themselves the steps taken
by the University in providing the best
possible holistic education and in the
process, grooming young students
to become effectively employable
citizens of India.

I consider it my privilege to welcome
the students who have decided to
join Sanskriti University for pursuing
higher education in undergraduate and
postgraduate courses. I can assure you
that you have made the right choice of
university as it provides an educational
environment that is conducive for
grooming young men and women. It is
done in a manner that enables them to
efficiently shoulder the responsibilities
during their professional career for
their own prosperity and growth and,
in the process, contribute towards
development of the nation.
The dynamic environment of the new
millennium demands a paradigm shift
in the process of delivery of higher
education so that young men and
women exposed to the system can
adequately meet the changing needs of
the business environment.
I am glad to inform the aspiring
students (with an urge to excel) that
Sanskriti University has developed (and
will continue to develop) its curriculum
on the basis of global requirements. In
short, the university is grooming the
students of every course in accordance
with contemporary international
requirements for attaining expected
level of ‘employability’. Research and
Development (R & D) is an essential
requirement of higher education. The
university has taken right steps in
this direction by creating facilities for
conducting research in different fields
and also encouraging the students
and faculty members to undertake
research.
Sanskriti University wishes to
establish and continuously improve
a high quality educational hub where
every school will have fully equipped
laboratories, central library and other
infrastructural facilities. The university
is offering courses much beyond the
traditional courses and grooming the
students in those disciplines in which
there is enough potential for quality
placement in the near future.
I would like the students to experience
the environment at Sanskriti and be a
part of ‘holistic grooming’ process. I
wish them success and excellence in
life.

I am glad to note that the students
have shown lot of interest in pursuing
various courses offered by Sanskriti
University and the candidates selected
have qualified after going through a
rigorous selection process. Excellent
performance of these meritorious
students will certainly enhance
reputation of the university which
is taking various steps required for
its recognition as one of the premier
private universities. Further, the large
number of courses being offered by the
university is beneficial for the students
as every aspirant can choose the
course that he/she likes the most.
By virtue of geographical location
of the campus on N.H.-2 at Chhata,
Mathura, the university provides a
serene and pollution-free environment
that encourages the students to
devote their time to studies without
any distractions and also provides
opportunity to engage themselves
in various extra-curricular activities
including sports. The university is
taking all steps to provide the right
ambience for holistic development of
the students.
I am glad to note that the university
is attaching lot of importance to
‘employability’ and it is taking
necessary steps to ensure that every
student is groomed to be ‘suitably
employed’ in the industry. There is
regular institution industry interface
so that the students get first-hand
exposure to the industrial climate
(while pursuing their studies) and
understand the value of proficiency
in practical application for ensuring
positive returns on investment.
Another important aspect that is given
due importance is ‘placement’ of the
students. In a country like India which
is being recognized as a developing
economy, it is imperative that all
educated students should be suitably
placed for economic stability and
growth of their family and the nation.
A proper Training & Placement Cell
is in place to constantly monitor the
employment opportunities in different
sectors of the economy. This cell gets
in touch with the interested employers
and invites them to the campus for
conducting interviews for recruitment
of students. Our motto is 100% quality
placement.
As far as extra-curricular activities are
concerned, cultural programmes are
organized during Foundation Day and
Annual Fest – (SPARK) when students
get the opportunity of showcasing their
talents on a stage attended by many
distinguished guests, faculty members,
staff and, most importantly, students
of the university.
I am confident that our university will
constantly provide necessary inputs to
the students to become well educated
& appropriately employable citizens
of India who will contribute towards
over-all growth of the nation and lead a
worthwhile life.

Sanskriti acknowledges the fact rapid growth in the field of education
with emphasis on improving the quality (of education) is possible only if
strategic steps are taken for inorganic growth through alliances in the form
of collaboration with reputed foreign universities. As a formidable step in this
direction, Sanskriti signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HELP
University, Malaysia.
HELP University is a reputed University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and
specialized in education and training. The objective of signing the MOU is to
establish institutional linkage for enhancing the learning process in higher
education through greater exposure and also conduct research in different fields
of education in a collaborative effort. Both HELP University and Sanskriti have
the common mission of elevating the standard of education and application of
innovative concepts through continuous research through mutual collaboration.
The MOU provides for faculty and student exchange programme with
arrangement for credit transfer for MBA programme. It also includes the
arrangement for studying at HELP University for one semester or one year as
mutually agreed. The MOU was signed by Datuk Dr. Paul Chan Tuck Hoong, Vice
Chancellor and Chancellor, HELP University and Mr. Sachiin Gupta, Chancellor,

A classroom is the center of learning at a university. Thus, the classrooms at
Sanskriti University are designed in the most conducive manner. This helps
effective interaction between teachers and students.
The classroom infrastructure is enhanced by audio-visual teaching aids
which ensure that students can learn through presentations during lectures.

students and teachers share new ideas. The seminar hall at the university is the center of all the action. Be it a guest lecture
or a competition, it can all be dome at the seminar hall.
Guest lectures, seminars, or FDPs where a large number of students and teachers need to participate are comfortably

effectively a roster is maintained about the different seminars to be conducted at different times. The systematic planning
makes it very easy to manage the seminar hall.

Computer Lab Computers are one of the
most important tools for
learning today and in an
educational institution
their importance becomes
higher. In today’s time it
seems next to impossible
to impart quality education
without the help of a
well formed computer
network. Be it Powerpoint
presentations, audio-
visual teaching aids,
articles, journals, or
papers on various subjects,
everything is available with
just a few clicks.
Setting up a functional and effective
computer center requires proper
planning and layout management.
In addition to this the center needs
to have the right instructors and
administrators who keep a close
eye on the happenings. The state of
the art computer center at Sanskriti
University abides by all these
standards.
All the labs within a specific area or
building at the university are inter
connected. The labs are managed
All systems are connected on LAN and Wi-fi facility is available
throughout the college campus including hostels.
by qualified and dedicated staff
members. This makes sure that
students have expert guidance at
hand always. There are around 600
systems that cater to the practical
learning needs of students. The center
is well ventilated, well-lit, and highly
spacious.

looking for journals, course books, reference material or
research material, the library is the place to head to.
Library
The library is well lit and very
spacious and with suitable furniture
and reading room, it becomes an
apt environment for students to
learn and enrich their knowledge.
The library houses books of both
national and international authors
to make sure that students get the
best of knowledge. With over 1 lac
books and approximately 60 Indian
and 30 international journals apart
from e-journals, the library is very
well stacked as per the needs of the
students.
Students can avail the book bank
facility in addition to issuing of books
against library cards. In this service
students can take the necessary text
books of all subjects in different
semesters. This is a greatly loved
service by students and they make full
use of it.
Digital library
The library service at Sanskriti
University extends to a digital library
for the convenience of students. All
the books are bar coded. By using
the software - Online Public Access

Transportation
The university is located at a distance
of about 28km from Mathura city
on NH-2. Transportation becomes
a lifeline for students and staff and
they depend upon the university
transportation for daily commuting.
The university has its fleet of luxury
buses. The bus routes cover various
towns and villages in and around
Mathura, Vrindavan, Chhata, Kosi
Kalan etc. Each bus has a senior
faculty member in charge, to ensure
safety and discipline.
Both students and faculty members
can avail the transportation service
and reach the university without any
hassle.
Transportation facility for girls is
free of cost to encourage them to
pursue higher education and become
independent. Others can avail the
service at a nominal charge.
26 www.sanskriti.edu.in
Cafeteria
Cafeteria is the place
where students relax
and unwind after a hard
day at the university. The
cafeteria at Sanskriti
University is spacious and
can accommodate 200 –
300 people. The furniture
is laid in a manner to
accommodate maximum
people and yet look
aesthetic.
Quality and hygiene are the two most
important factors in a cafeteria. The
regular quality control and quality
checks at the cafeteria ensure highest
standards of hygiene. Be assured that
you’ll never have to compromise with
food quality, cleanliness, and overall
hygiene at the cafeteria. Be it kitchen
or raw materials used for preparation
of food, everything goes through a
stringent quality check.
Like the campus is a no-smoking zone,
the cafeteria is also a tobacco free
zone. Strict vigil is kept to make sure
that these rules are upheld on the
campus.
27www.sanskriti.edu.in
Home like Hostels
Sanskriti University provides hostel facility to students
who come from different parts of the country to pursue
higher education. There are separate hostels for boys and
girls. At present there are 5 hostels – 4 on campus for
boys, and 1 off campus for girls.
It is rightly said that a hostel is a
home away from home. For hostellers,
their rooms become their small world.
Necessary measures are taken to
ensure the cleanliness and safety of
all the hostels. The hostel service
is student friendly and gives them a
feeling of being at home.
The rooms are spacious and
have the necessary furniture for
students to study and relax.
AC and non AC rooms are
available for both boys and girls.
All the hostels have a 24X7
power back up facility, so
students never have to
compromise on security and
their comfort.
Strict discipline is maintained
at all times. Students are not
allowed to leave the hostel
without prior permission.
Strict compliance of hostel rules is a must. Regular supervision of hostels is carried
out by hostel supervisors to ensure everything is in place. The ‘zero tolerance’ rule
for hostel discipline is what we stick to. The hostel administration ensures that all
aspects from cleanliness to safety, is done as per the check list.
