United Nations Operation in Cote d'Ivoire
Civil-military coordination is a
critical success factor in
complex peace operations.
As neither the military
nor the civil elements are
homogenous so
interdependency will
remain to reach the goal
which ultimately dictates
effective CIMCORD.
Since its inception, ONUCI
and other humanitarian
agencies of UN have been
working together for the
betterment of the
distressed and war-torn
populace of Cote D’Ivoire.
