Introduction
MWC is no longer just about smartphones, during four days was starting on 22.Feb.2016,
Mobile World Congress, one of the largest mobile-focused trade shows providing insights
into what participants might see in Barcelona, this year, the event showcased wearable tech,
cameras and tablets, as well as the growing realm of VR, established brands like Samsung,
Sony and LG naturally dominated the show, the most prominent with 2,200 exhibitors and a
footfall of over 100,000 delegates in the industry introduced the newest technologies and
most trends innovative products that impact of mobile on individuals and business, in
developed marketing. The MWC capital was focuses on these main three areas such as;

I. Mobile is Everything
Mobile powers our lives. It’s an extension of who we are. Nowadays Mobile is not only
communications device, it's also so much more its more connectivity, the health monitor on
our wrist, and also the key to our digital security mobile become more commerce and
inclusive so we can say that mobile is everything.
During MWC event this year Samsung launched two new high-end smartphones, namely
Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The devices come with QUALCOMM Snapdragon 820
processor with 4GB RAM, so the processors and LTE modems support breath-taking speed,
jaw-dropping graphics, ultra-fast connectivity and longer battery life and both run on Android
OS V6.0 (Marshmallow), MicroSD cards and waterproof features are being reintroduced,
along with a bigger camera with a lower resolution.

II. LG G5 & Friends
(LG) today unveiled its highly anticipated LG G5 smartphone, a brand new design with not
only a sleek, metal uni-body featuring a Slide-out Battery but a Modular Type design that
gives a greater smartphone experience. Complete with LG Friends, a collection of companion
devices, the G5 can be transformed into a digital camera, Hi-Fi player and more. First, the
G5's 135-degree wide angle lens lets you choose between standard or wide angle lens to get
more in the shot. Second, the Always-on Display makes notifications just a glance away with
the time, date and more available anytime without waking the G5. Third, the 3D Arc Glass
featured in the smartphone's 5.3-inch display creates a gentle curve and a smooth colorful
metal surface through an advanced microdizing process which takes anodized aluminum to a
whole new level.

III. Virtual Reality
Virtual realities (VR), which can be referred to as immersive multimedia or computer-
simulated reality, use a smartphone as main components, at MWC. VR stole the spotlight, as
LG launched the LG 360 VR headset to complement its modular smartphone; meanwhile,
HTC launched their first ever self-sufficient VR Headset, HTC Vive. Co-produced with Valve
Corp (developers of Steam), this headset is made for the sole purpose of gaming. HTC Vive
is into its third year, making it the most amazing product in one of the hottest areas of tech
right now. Instead of sitting down and looking around, the Vive allows you to walk around
virtual worlds, interacting with them using a 360-degree motion controller in each hand.
IV. 5G Network
The 5G is next major phase of mobile telecommunications standards that able to create
more value to consumer by being applied to a whole range of new technologies and
initiatives on display in Barcelona, transformation, network virtualization, and IoT
connectivity will all come under the 5G umbrella, 5G story is developing differently from
previous mobile technology generations, the potential to deliver faster speeds – the key
attributes of 3G and 4G to fit the IoT platform.

Conclusion
More likely is the outcome smartphones develop into a positive aspect of our society; we
could become more connected with everything around us, more efficient, and more involved
than we ever have before. As the world moves from sharing messages and photos to sharing
data and video in real time, it’s only natural that tech should follow suit. With increased
network capabilities and 5G networks and applications becoming a reality in the near future,
we’re beginning to wake up to connected everything.
5G networks hold the key to the success of the Internet of Things, as these faster, high-
performance networks grow to handle millions of connections. We live in the age of networks
technology, we have more information available at our fingertips than our previous
generations could have possibly imagined. So we are already excited to see what the next
MWC has in store - the possibilities will soon be endless.
