Welcome everyone. It is my pleasure to present our latest innovation for palletizing.
I am sure all of you are familiar with conventional palletizing systems. The most common layer pattern for 50 pound or 25 kg bags is 5 bags per layer. This requires turning 3 of the bags. So the method of turning the bag is critical for dependable production. In other words, it can be a weak link in the overall system performance.
There are also a lot of motors with gear boxes to maintain.
We have learned Bag Flattening and Perimeter Squaring are the keys to good results. These are important components to stack full pallets on top of each other in the warehouse.
Our all electric design with low stress movements provides dependable performance for many years. We have many features that I will not go into.
This leads me to Robotic Palletizing, which is extremely popular.
I attribute the success of robotic palletizers to their reliability along with operators being able to view all movements from the floor. All operations are easily seen.
Replacing grease and batteries once per year is welcomed by maintenance departments.
It is easy to provide space between bags and to turn bags in any direction. While it may look strange to have a space between bags, having the 4 corners at the same height provides a strong & stable pallet.
To make soft wheat flour bags fit onto the pallet without overhang, we developed a special flattener to squeeze the bag on four sides.
Have you ever heard the request, “I want to go faster”? A Lateral Gripper is available for faster production, as it picks up 2 or 3 bags at a time.
We have been very successful by offering our customers a variety of solutions.

While loving the dependable performance of the robotic palletizers, many customers have been asking for a system with the reliability of a robot while delivering a finished full pallet only a conventional palletizer can deliver.
While developing this new arrangement, how can we make the system even easier to operate?
The answer is to provide photos of the sub-assemblies on the Operator Interface.
This gives the operator the ability to very quickly make adjustments.
It is simple, just click on the item & touch the appropriate arrow to change the setting.
Having the ability to quickly enter a new recipe or layer pattern is essential.
By showing it graphically instead of just numbers we minimize operator errors and increase productivity.
Troubleshooting could not be easier. Just click on the sub-assembly to make it move.
I really like being able to see the status of input modules, because 90% of system faults are from sensors and photo eyes not functioning properly.
English, French, & Spanish can be incorporated. Easy to operate is important. It is a key to productivity.
OK, besides having an improved Operator Interface, what else makes it special?
No bag turning module is required! This saves space because the robot does it. The robot deposits each bag as desired in the proper position. This means bags can be overlapped to fit within perimeter of the pallet.
If you look closely, you will see the robot is attached to the frame holding the Pickup Conveyor. This reduces installation time as well as commissioning time.
A reliable empty pallet dispenser is integrated into the system.
Every detail of this new innovative design has been reviewed with the idea of fast installation. The controls are attached to the system.
Wireways and cables are provided. This means you don’t need to have 2 or 3 electricians working for a week to get the system connected.
Safety is a priority. To assure the operators remain safe, we install a light barrier on the exit. The safety fences are not shown in this view.
