After many hours of playing outside,
and letting our imaginations run free
We hear momma calling in the back ground
“Darren it is time to come eat”
I holler “kennel up”, you take off wagging your tail,
I pet you in your favorite spot and bid you farewell.
Until tomorrow comes, I will await a brand new day
There is so much more fun, we can’t wait to come our way.
Time flies by and now I’m all grown up
It seems like just yesterday you were only a pup.
You are all so special and in my heart you will always be
