- Purpose of the project : reduction of GHG emissions
 compared to a reference situation (baseline)

- Gas: CO2, CH4, N2O, HFCs, PFCs, SF6

- Additionality of project

- Project approved by the DNA

- Sustainable development contribution : economic,
social, environmental, strategic
SWH installed in residentiel sector

financial, institutional et organisational barriers
   High cost of the public subsidies
   Managerial cost is supported by the Government through the ANME.
   The perennity of the programme needs some actions as a quality control, training,
   certification for which the ANME has to finance

technical and technological barriers
   Technical capacities of installors
   Needs of entretien et maintenance of systems installed

Needs to strenghten the communication and aware the users of
SWH systems

reducing GHG (710 ktCO2 eq avoided for all the credit period)

Social impact
Establishment of production units and new job opportunities
- 27 eligible suppliers (06 suppliers in 2004)
-750 eligible installers (120 installers in 2004)
-115 models of solar water heating eligible (20 models in 2004)

Economic Impact
- Save energy (LPG is heavily subsidized) 200 ktoe at the end of 2011
- Energy independence, balanced budget,
- Establishment of Industries ( 06 new manufacturers)
- Transfer of technology (development of partnership, dynamic export)
