74. Paragraph
“Click-click,” that is the sound of turning on the light in my
grandparents’ attic. My favorite place in the world is my grandparents’
house. My grandparents’ house makes me feel happy. At my
grandparents’ house, time seems to go by slower because my
grandparents are old and are not in a hurry. Their house always feels
warm and smells like polenta (Italian cornmeal). Sometimes I hear the
sound of neighborhood kids riding bikes or cars driving by slowly. My
grandma feeds me delicious food when I come to her house, like
Ukrainian perogies. When I stay at my grandparents’ house, I sleep in
my mom’s old bed in the attic bedroom. In the attic bedroom, there is a
minature door that leads to a cold and drafty storage room. My sister
and I used to play in the spooky, old storage room. My grandparents’
house is the best place in the world.
