The Big Brothers Big Sisters program advocates in all 50 states to children from ages six to eighteen that are from single parents homes, living in poverty, or has a parent that is incarcerated. You should join and support the Big Brothers Big Sister organization, because it helps so many children in the world recognize their full potential and look forward to a brighter future in spite of their circumstances. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a very powerful organization, because of how it got started,what they do and what they achieve.
The Big Brothers Big Sister organization helps children from single parent homes, incarcerated or that’s living in poverty. Every child needs both parents in their lives, but sometimes it’s just not an option. So it’s good that the organization tries to put back what's missing to better help your child to succeed.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization states that it takes 1000 annually for a Big to mentor a child with the most of the money being used administrative expenses. The organization pays for the entire outing the transportation, the dinner as well as the activity they choose. A lot of other programs are on board and gives the program discounts, but they have to make the reservation ahead of time.
All the kids are matched with their Big Brother Big Sister based on compatibility. It’s cool to know that your child's Big will like hanging out with your child just as much as your child will like hanging out with their Big. Not everything takes money sometimes it’s the bike rides, or the walks in the park and the conversations had during these outings that mean the most to a child sometimes they just want someone to listen.
Sometimes as parents we are very busy with work household chorus and other obligations that we don’t seem to have the time to help our children with that project or just homework. It's very nice that your children Big Brother Big Sister doesn,t just take them out for fun their also concern with your child's education and wants them to suceed.
Children look up to you why not influence them in a positive way take them to your job and let them what type of work you do it may help them decide what they want to be when they grow up.
In 1994 -1995 a research was done Public/ Private Ventures an Independent national research organization. They found out that after 18 mounts of spending time with their Big’s they were less likely skip school/class, fight, drugs, or drink alcohol. Talk about a positive influence on children’s life Big Brother’s Big Sister definitely takes pride in helping our children achieve a brighter future.
You are never too old to volunteer and teach a child that needs someone positive, caring, successful, and trust worthy in their lives.
The compatibility plays a really big part with the Big’s and the Lil’s, because of what they have in common it will be very easy for them to decide what they are going do with the time they spend together.
Most of the children that go through the program form lifelong relationships with their Big’s. A lot of them become Big’s themselves, because of how the program helped change their lives they want to give back and helped another child.
It’s really great when the children can show appreciation for what is being done for them they know that this organization along with their caring parents is changing their lives for the better. So why wouldn’t you want to become a part of this outstanding non profit organization that’s changing so many children lives.
