• With an ever increasing rate of
childhood obesity and associated
health problems, PD/H/PE classes
offer a forum to introduce sound
nutritional practice to
students, where otherwise there
may not be the time or resources.
4. Physical Activity
• PD/H/PE classes allow for the
development of multiple physical
skill sets, as well as the bonds
associated with teamwork and the
observance of rules and officials!
5. Safety
• PD/H/PE is the perfect forum for
introducing safe lifestyle practices to
students. Whether they be road
safety initiatives, or simply ways in
which to avoid injury or other forms
of harm, PD/H/PE classes allow the
teacher to include this sort of
instruction in an appropriate
setting.
