The document outlines several programs and policies for strengthening high school learning at a particular school. It describes the Homework Allocation and Test Schedule (H.A.T.S.) policy which regulates homework loads and the scheduling of tests and projects. It also details an Advanced Science and Math program for honors students, a Special Academic Assistance program for students needing remedial help, and a variety of elective class options. The goal is to enhance and individualize the learning experience for all students through innovative and specialized academic offerings.

Two (2) LT/MT plus two (2) more quizzes;
NO LT/MT, six (6) quizzes can be scheduled.

7. Assessments/evaluations with 10-20 minutes time frame
or those with less than 30 points are considered as
quizzes. Deadlines for projects must be scheduled with
prudent consideration of the extent of the work/task, the
degree of difficulty, and the duration involved so that
students can submit/present quality work.
Written homework should be indicated/written in the
H.A.T.S. form except for reading assignments which may
not be necessarily indicated/written.
Written homework may be given everyday for

12. ADVANCED SCIENCE & MATH
PROGRAM FOR THE HONORS CLASS
For the more gifted students in the honors class in second and
third years, a special program has been designed to allow
them to learn and work in small teams (teams Euclid,
Pythagoras, Wolves and Eagles) that facilitate learning in
Science and Math with greater depth and higher mastery.
Science and Math classes are scheduled simultaneously.
The program offers the regular curriculum to our fast learners
at an enhanced pace. The approach features more challenging
activities in terms of complexity and depth that will require
varied and even specialized skills.

15. SPECIAL ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM (SAA) & REMEDIAL
PROGRAM
It is the pro-active academic support provided
to pre-identified students who have not
performed well in the previous year. It offers
early remediation primarily on the core
subjects, namely Science, Math, English and
Filipino, to ensure preparedness and mastery of
the necessary skills for the year level of the
student.
The Special Academic Assistance
classes are held during
Saturdays for an hour and a half.
Inclusion in the SAA requires a
separate enrollment.
16. ELECTIVE CLASSES
• Array of curricular offerings designed to make
learning even more engaging, relevant and
interesting. Electives Subjects are generally
free form and entertaining which allows
students to have fun and play while being
educated.
• Students from First Year to Third Year choose
from a menu of Elective subjects to giving them
a bit of a break while still keeping them
engaged in learning the required general core
academic subjects like English, Math, Science or
Social Studies. The enhanced interests of
students in the Electives in turn foster greater
interest and engagement in study and learning.
• Elective classes meet once a week and are
rotated at the end of the semester.
