1. ?How did it all start
17th May 1995, Udi Peless & Shai Abramson
established a company named “Friendly Machines”.
The company developed the first Robotic Lawn
Mower.

2. Our First Prototype
A Rover walk behind lawn
mower was converted into
the first prototype robotic
lawn mower.

at the GLEE show in Birmingham UK

6. Robomow Classic as sold since 1998,
about 4000 units were sold in 3 years

7. Company name
In 1999 we changed our name from
Friendly Machines to Friendly Robotics

8. RL Series
New and improved design – the RL series
First models launched in 2000
Base Station was added in 2004

10. Vacuum Cleaner
A joint venture with the Hoover company
led to the introduction of a robotic vacuum
cleaner in 2003

11. Branding
In 2005
Became the brand.
Friendly Robotics is the name of the company,
but its logo is no longer used.

12. Environmental friendly
Also in 2005, we added to the company the idea of a
Green product, Robomow is making as minimal impact
on the environment as possible.

13. RM Series
In 2008 we came out to the market with
the third generation- the RM series

14. In 2010, distribution was expanded to the modern trade
in Europe via the introduction of the Robomow City line
