2. For my Opening Sequence it is important
to evaluate all possible risks during the
process of filming and find alternatives
or plans of action which will help to
reduce this risk
3. Risk One
Children falling down the stairs during filming
To reduce this risk I am making sure that the parent of the
children is present throughout the filming
process, keeping to the top of the stairs – to both make
sure the children are kept under control and so they
know not to play near the stairwell as this is dangerous to
their safety.
4. Risk Two
Dropping camera out of the upstairs window
To reduce this risk I am going to keep the camera
attached to the tripod. Instead of leaning myself out of
the window to film the high shot, I will have the camera
itself out of the window on a safe and secure device –
with someone else behind me also holding the tripod in
order to maximise stability.
5. Risk Three
Dog turning aggressive or agitated during filming
To minimise this risk I will have the owner of the dog
present during the filming process, allowing the animal to
feel safe and keeping her well behaved for the camera.
The owner can also attract the dogs attention from an
off screen point of view - as to have her performing in the
way we want towards the owner, but so that it looks
instead like these actions are towards our female
character in the Opening sequence.
6. Risk Four
Crashing the car during sound recording
To reduced this risk I will have an experienced driver
(owner of the car) manoeuvring the vehicle over the
gravel, to produce the sound we want for the recording
– this is instead of the female character which we are
perceiving as the driver; who is younger and less
experienced, therefore a higher risk factor in this case.
