HOW IT WORKS !
• All the water we drink needs to be cleaned out
somehow, before we drink it, and filters is one of the
ways to do this. How do filters work? First, you have
water and things like particles that make up the water.
Then, some of the water particles stick to the dirt and
other things that make the water not potable. After
that, some of the dirt particles are bigger than the
water molecules and they can't get through. So, all of
the dirty things get stuck in the filter.

BASICALLY…
• Without filters, most of the water we
drink today would be dirty! So
water being filtered is a big part of
our lives today. It’s what makes us
healthy!

UNFORTUNATELY
• People in other countries don’t have
the things we have in our country
so, they don’t have many ways to
clean their water. Therefore, people
everyday are taking the risk of drinking
dirty water, and dying from it everyday.
