A Virtual Team – also known as a Geographically
Dispersed Team (GDT) – is a group of individuals
who work across time, space, and organizational
boundaries with links strengthened by webs of
communication technology.

 Communication can be limited – One needs to know how to use technology to
your advantage which takes a lot of sophistication.
Managing time can be difficult – In a large team it his hard to find a suitable
time for all to be present virtually
