This Week’s Assignments
Math – This week we will continue our geometry study. We are slowing down and will
be focusing a lot this week on 3-D shapes. Students will have a quiz on Friday.
Writing – Students will continue working on their ornament description and we will
hopefully begin our “ ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” and “If I Could Give the World
A Gift” writing projects.
Reading – Our focus this week will be non-fiction. We will look at non-fiction text
structures and students will be reading non-fiction material in their reading groups.
Science – A study guide has been sent home and students will have a short test on
Friday.
Reminders to Parents
1. Check and sign your child’s assignment book nightly and ask them about their
day at school. Many students are not getting their assignment books signed.
2. Monday will be day 1 (Computer).
