Year 13 parents' evening presentation - October 2015
1. The Aim
“To enable each student to leave Ratcliffe
at the end of Year 13:
• With their best possible exam
results…
• …and plans in place for the future…
• … having had a great time in their
final year here.”
3. Mock Examinations
Mon 22nd Feb – Fri 26th Feb 2015
• Preparation is an on-going process.
• Students should be aware of the
importance of keeping all revision
materials up-to-date.
• Christmas holidays & half term are
vitally important for ensuring that
this experience is beneficial for the
actual exam.
4. Post-Ratcliffe
• UCAS deadlines:
- Oxbridge, etc. (15/10/15)
- UCAS (15/1/16) – but not for us!
- Ideally: By half-term
- Latest: End of November
• Unsure? Apply anyway!
• Plenty of support is available from the
teaching staff.
5. UCAS Decisions
• May keep up to two offers:

want to go
– CI – Insurance choice: In case you
do not get grades needed for CF
• Need not opt for an insurance
choice.

• Deadline: Early May
