I'm trying to find the component values for a bandpass filter with a center frequency of 6500 Hz,
a bandwidth of 1260 Hz, and a gain of 6. I've been trying to do it by hand, but keep getting a
negative value for one of the resitor values. I found a website that gives me the component
values based on the center frequency, gain, and Q factor. So my question is how do I find the Q
factor from the bandwidth in Hz?
Solution
BW = ?f = f 0 / Q Q = f 0 / BW f 0 = BW
