Help us to support families
in the Walsall Area
Supporting Families is a Pathway2Work initiative based in Walsall that offers one-to-one
support for families overcoming challenges and helping them
lead a more positive and productive life.
We aim to offer a helping hand to disadvantaged families by connecting them with
key workers who specialise in offering tailored advice and guidance to help families
lead a more rewarding life.
We offer support through face-to-face meetings or via the telephone to help solve any
problems or overcome challenges faced by families.
We work with GP's,local support groups,Job Centres,schools and other
referral partners such in the Walsall areas to help families with:
Employment problems •
Gain new skills •
Managing finances •
Improving health,nutrition and well being •
Housing and debt issues •
Building confidence and motivation •
Problems in family life or social situations •
We are always looking for potential referral partners
in organisations such as:
GPs and other NHS services •
Family and Community Centres •
School and Education Providers •
Sure Start •
Social Services •
We hope to obtain referrals for individuals in families that may benefit from the support our key workers have
on offer,to remove any work barriers,deal with skill shortages,and other personal and social problems
that might affect individuals and their families.
We offer a range of short courses,for various ages that focus on both personal
and career avenues.If you can think of a family who could avail of our individualised
support and guidance services – please refer them to us as we would really like to help!
