Sam Hines Bio
1. Sam Hines is a Business Executive with over 25 years of Experience. He is
currently Vice President at Human Resource Synergies, Inc (HRS), a human
resource consulting firm with a unique focus on small companies.
Mr. Hines says “Small business owners often assume many roles in order to
keep the business afloat. Unfortunately, becoming a jack of all trades leads to
being a master of none, and leaves their organizations with efficiency gaps. HR
Synergies recognizes the need to keep expenses low while improving
processes. That’s why we’ve combined our 35+ years of HR experience with a
cost savings approach to deliver the best HR resources possible.”
He further says “At HRS, we focus all our attention on small businesses and non-
profit organizations of 25 employees or less. Our mission is to help them protect
their company, as well as their most important asset – their people. Our goal is
to achieve HR serenity through HR synergy.”
Prior to his current position, he was a Senior Executive Search Consultant with
CareerXchange; a South Florida based Human Resource Consulting Firm. He
also worked with Ryder System in executive Human Resource positions.
Additionally, he was a Human Resource Executive with First Chicago prior to
coming to South Florida.
He is President of the Board of Directors of the Pam Hutchinson Bridge Builder
Foundation, the immediate past President of The South Florida Chapter of the
National Black MBA Association, Board Member of the Women Business
Development Council of Florida, and Board Member of the South Florida Chapter
of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources. Most
recently, he was named one of South Florida’s 50 most powerful and influential
Black Professionals by Success South Florida Magazine.
Mr. Hines received his undergraduate degree in English Literature from Jackson
State University and completed his graduate studies in the executive Human
Resource program at Boston University.
