6. Against the War! Obama opposed against George W. Bush when he invaded Iraq in 2003. Obama addressed the first high-profile Chicago anti-Iraq War rally.
7. Becoming President In February on the 10th, in 2007, Obama announced his candidacy for president of the United States of America. Barack Obama won the race against George W. Bush and became President of the U.S.
