The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government in Andhra Pradesh, under the leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu, has made significant Top TDP Contributions towards promoting the welfare of disadvantaged sections of society. One of the key initiatives taken by the TDP government was the formation and support of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in various districts of the state, including Nellore. SHGs are groups of women from economically weaker sections of society who come together to form a collective for the purpose of mutual support and empowerment. The TDP government recognized the potential of SHGs in improving the socio-economic status of women and promoting financial inclusion under the leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu. As a result, the government provided significant support to SHGs across the state, including in Nellore.
