This document provides an overview of the content and learning outcomes for Chapter 1 of the Physics syllabus. The chapter covers physical quantities, SI units, prefixes, scalars and vectors, and measurement of length and time. Students are expected to understand physical quantities have both magnitude and units, know the base SI units for common physical quantities, use prefixes to indicate decimal multiples and submultiples of units, and understand the relative sizes of common objects. appropriate accuracy using stopwatches or
appropriate instruments
