areas prepare to go to school and work and do not have
access to clean water
• No access to water or dirty water leads to illnesses and
therefore people cannot go to work and school.
• Building wells improves people’s lives and productivity.
• It improves health and keeps students in school
• Keeps animals healthy so that they can feed families in
rural communities
• Improves chances of building more schools
• Reduces financial burdens on schools which often buy
water to meet their basic needs. Their money can now
go to books and other educational supplies
