Key Goals Activities
Increasing Science/Math teacher content
knowledge
Workshop topics will include content specific
information related to STEM
PromotingTeaching Skills Topics will be offered to increase use of
technology in the classroom
Developing curricula or aligning to state
standards
Participants will be required to develop leveled
lesson plans along with a peer teacher.
Peer mentoring by teachers Elementary and Secondary teachers will be
paired with one another to develop lesson
plans
Exposure to STEM Professionals Professionals from CareerTech and Higher Ed
will be available to present at the conference
K-8 Science/Math Expertise Building STEMTopics will be offered to increase rigor in
grades K-8

Key Goals Activities Increasing Science/Math teacher content knowledge Workshop topics will include content specific information related to STEM PromotingTeaching Skills Topics will be offered to increase use of technology in the classroom Developing curricula or aligning to state standards Participants will be required to develop leveled lesson plans along with a peer teacher. Peer mentoring by teachers Elementary and Secondary teachers will be paired with one another to develop lesson plans Exposure to STEM Professionals Professionals from CareerTech and Higher Ed will be available to present at the conference K-8 Science/Math Expertise Building STEMTopics will be offered to increase rigor in grades K-8 Key Goals
