Acute treatment ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
Any remedy which gets indicated in an acute stage is bound to be in mathematical relation with the Genetic Constitutional Similimum
CLASSIFICATION OF DISEASES BY DR. HAHNEMANN
It is very important for a Homoeopathic Physician to thoroughly understand the Classification of Diseases by Dr. Hahnemann and to identify the disease condition presented by his patient before he attempts to cure him.
DISEASE INDISPOSITION NATURAL DISEASES (DYNAMIC DISEASES) CHRONIC   ACUTE
INDISPOSITION   One or more trivial symptoms.  Observed only a short time       (DR. HAHNEMANN) Not a fully developed disease that requires serious medical aid. Slight alteration in diet or/and regimen will dispel.  (Para-150)
[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],INDISPOSITION ? (Reflections by Dr. C.J.Varghese)
NATURAL DISEASES OR DYNAMIC DISEASES       INDIPOSITION MECHANICAL DEFICIENCY DISEASES THEY HAVE NATURAL ORDER OF ONSET, PROGRESS , DECLINE OR NO DECLINE.
ACUTE DISEASES          Rapid morbid process of abnormally deranged Vital Force ·      Tendency to finish quickly·       Always in a moderate time·        Period of prodrome, progress, recovery or death·     Acute miasm come violently·       May cause death·       Comes like a storm, stays for a period, and goes like a storm Recovers or dies with or without medicines. (DR. HAHNEMANN)
ACUTE DISEASES CLASSIFICATION ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],(Dr. Hahnemann)
ACUTE DISEASES CLASSIFICATION     A.   ACUTE EXACERBATION OF CHRONIC DISEASES   E.g. Cold, Asthma, Colitis,Tonsillitis, Cystitis, Rheumatism etc .
B.  SPORADIC Several persons at the same time here and there. ,[object Object],E.g. Viral Fever, Influenza, Dysentery, Typhoid etc
C. EPIDEMIC Many persons at one time. Infectious and contagious. Terminate in a moderate time. In death or recovery. In war or famine
[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],C. EPIDEMIC
Acute diseases are like Tips of Ice bergs
[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Acute Diseases (IN MY OPINION )
Recovery or death varies from individual to individual depending on Miasms. Triggered by different causative factors- internal or / and external . Development is always under the influence of the Miasms. Every individual is coded with a particular combination of Miasms. It determines the susceptibility. It decides the nature of development and progress. One of the episodes among whole process of development of disease. Complications and Prognosis decided by Miasms. ACUTE DISEASES (Reflections by Dr. C.J.Varghese )
[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
PSORA SYCOSIS SYPHILIS IN ACUTE DISEASES DEATH OCCURS DUE TO THE INFLUENCE OF A HIGH PREDOMINANCE OF SYPHILIS, OFTEN BYPASSING A NEGLIGIBLE RATIO OF SYCOSIS.
True cure does not lie in a mere removal of the disease symptoms or in their transfer from one organ to another, but in annihilating the very tendency for having the disease. (Several Anti Rheumatic Drugs are banned due to the finding that they affect Heart !)

USING FLOW CHART OF ACUTES
KNOW THE INDIVIDUAL - WHAT TYPE OF A MAN OR WHAT CONSTITUTION YOU ARE DEALING WITH- KNOW HOW HE HAS BEHAVED WHEN ATTACKED BY BACTERIA OR VIRUSES
REACTION SHOWN BY A PATIENT TO THE DISEASE OR INFECTION WILL TELL A PHYSICIAN WHAT CONSTITUTION HE IS DEALING WITH. WHEN YOU HIT YOUR FIST ON A WOODEN PANEL , GLASS PANEL, THERMOCOL, COIR, COTTON MATTRESS, THE REACTION OBTAINED BY YOUR HIT IN TERMS OF NOISE OR BEHAVIOUR OF THE PANEL CONCERNED WILL MAKE YOU AWARE OF WHAT MATERIAL YOU ARE DEALING WITH.
WHAT CHANGES OCCUR OR DO NOT OCCUR IN THE ORGANISM / CONSTITUTION IS REFLECTED BY THE ACTIVITIES OF THAT AFFECTED CONSTITUTION.
Therefore the acute chart is based on ACTIVITY OBSERVE THE CHANGE IN THE ACTIVITY WHEN THE CONSTITUTION IS AFFECTED
If Opium Constitution is affected by stronger dynamic influences, it will bring about temporary change in the basic constitutional picture in terms of activity, thermals and thirst and will be giving rise to a picture either of Aconite or Ant Tart or Belladona or Bryonia or Hyoscyamus or Nux vom or Nux mosch which are in relation with Opium.
This may occur if and only if Opium picture changes, which is not a must. That means, sometimes, the same picture of Opium can come up then another dose of Opium will help to manage the situation.
Once you become aware of the Dynamis behind Life (Vital Dynamis), Disease (Disease Dynamis) and Drug (Drug Dynamis) you can very well take decisions at every instance. (Just like an expert in music can understand that the musical notes are in order or not- sharp, flat etc…)
This change in activity, Thermals and thirst and physical and mental symptoms which are thrown out by the constitution are basically compensatory in nature.
It is a natural effort by the organism to provide immunity and restore the sick to health. Therefore very often health is restored without the aid of any medicine- homoeopathic or allopathic. If such recovery does not take place then and then only it calls for an intervention.
If required to prescribe, it shall be keeping with our basic law of similimum to the acute totality which of course should be based on activity, thermals , generals like thirst, and food and mentals changed state or attitude (PQRS) and not only on physical symptoms.
All the cardinal principles of prescription have to be obeyed ie., one remedy, one dose … then the Hering’s law will be applied… magical speed of recovery will be visible…general sense of well being…no subsequent weakness will ensue…gets back the appetite faster…can resume work earlier…
Such results are guaranteed when prescribed on activity, thermals, thirst and mentals that are changed. This is called ACTIVITY-THERMAL-THIRST AND MENTAL AXIS
Flow Chart is prepared for simplifying this especially for new Homoeopaths.
ACTIVITY DECREASED INCREASED NO CHANGE SLEEP OVER POWERING DULLNESS PHYSICAL RESTLESSNESS MENTAL ANXIETY VERBAL SING VERSES MAKES LOQUACITY CHILLY HOT CHILLY HOT CHILLY HOT THIRSTY THIRSTLESS THIRSTY THIRSTLESS THIRSTY THIRSTLESS THIRSTY THIRSTLESS THIRSTY THIRSTLESS
ACTIVITY INCREASED DECREASED NO CHANGE
EVERY SECTION IS FURTHER DIVIDED INTO HOT CHILLY
FURTHER DIFFERENTIATION IS DONE ON THE BASIS OF THIRSTY THIRSTLESS
THE WHOLE CHART IS BASED ON ACTIVITY. ACT OR ACTIONS REPRESENTS LIFE. SPEED AND ACTIONS ARE SPECIFIC TO CONSTITUTIONS. SHOULD NOT BE ASKED BY DIRECT QUESTION. IT SHOULD BE OBSERVED. EXCEPT IN CASE OF INFANTS
ACTIVITY DECREASED EG:- ,[object Object],[object Object]

Sahya Part 1

  • 2. ACUTE DISEASES ANY DISEASE OR ILLNESS WHICH CAN DISTURB THE HEALTH OF A PERSON TEMPORARILY IN A NEGATIVE WAY
  • 3.
  • 4. ACUTE DISEASES ACUTE INFECTIONS INDISPOSITION ACUTE EXACERBATION OF CHRONIC DISEASES
  • 5. A. ACUTE INFECTIONS (Eg.) INFECTION PLEURISY URINARY TRACT INFECTIONS DYSENTRY INFECTIVE DIARRHOEA FOOD POISONING SEPTICEMIA LUNG ABSCESS PNEUMONITIS PNEUMONIA TYPHOID SORE THROAT TONSILITIS INFLUENZA VIRAL FEVERS
  • 7.
  • 8.
  • 9.
  • 10. Any remedy which gets indicated in an acute stage is bound to be in mathematical relation with the Genetic Constitutional Similimum
  • 11. CLASSIFICATION OF DISEASES BY DR. HAHNEMANN
  • 12. It is very important for a Homoeopathic Physician to thoroughly understand the Classification of Diseases by Dr. Hahnemann and to identify the disease condition presented by his patient before he attempts to cure him.
  • 13. DISEASE INDISPOSITION NATURAL DISEASES (DYNAMIC DISEASES) CHRONIC   ACUTE
  • 14. INDISPOSITION   One or more trivial symptoms.  Observed only a short time      (DR. HAHNEMANN) Not a fully developed disease that requires serious medical aid. Slight alteration in diet or/and regimen will dispel.  (Para-150)
  • 15.
  • 16. NATURAL DISEASES OR DYNAMIC DISEASES       INDIPOSITION MECHANICAL DEFICIENCY DISEASES THEY HAVE NATURAL ORDER OF ONSET, PROGRESS , DECLINE OR NO DECLINE.
  • 17. (DR. HAHNEMANN)
  • 18.
  • 19. ACUTE DISEASES CLASSIFICATION     A.  ACUTE EXACERBATION OF CHRONIC DISEASES   E.g. Cold, Asthma, Colitis,Tonsillitis, Cystitis, Rheumatism etc .
  • 20.
  • 21. C. EPIDEMIC Many persons at one time. Infectious and contagious. Terminate in a moderate time. In death or recovery. In war or famine
  • 22.
  • 23. Acute diseases are like Tips of Ice bergs
  • 24.
  • 26.
  • 27.
  • 28. PSORA SYCOSIS SYPHILIS IN ACUTE DISEASES DEATH OCCURS DUE TO THE INFLUENCE OF A HIGH PREDOMINANCE OF SYPHILIS, OFTEN BYPASSING A NEGLIGIBLE RATIO OF SYCOSIS.
  • 29. True cure does not lie in a mere removal of the disease symptoms or in their transfer from one organ to another, but in annihilating the very tendency for having the disease. (Several Anti Rheumatic Drugs are banned due to the finding that they affect Heart !)
  • 30.
  • 31.
  • 32.
  • 33. USING FLOW CHART OF ACUTES
  • 34. KNOW THE INDIVIDUAL - WHAT TYPE OF A MAN OR WHAT CONSTITUTION YOU ARE DEALING WITH- KNOW HOW HE HAS BEHAVED WHEN ATTACKED BY BACTERIA OR VIRUSES
  • 36. WHAT CHANGES OCCUR OR DO NOT OCCUR IN THE ORGANISM / CONSTITUTION IS REFLECTED BY THE ACTIVITIES OF THAT AFFECTED CONSTITUTION.
  • 37. Therefore the acute chart is based on ACTIVITY OBSERVE THE CHANGE IN THE ACTIVITY WHEN THE CONSTITUTION IS AFFECTED
  • 39. This may occur if and only if Opium picture changes, which is not a must. That means, sometimes, the same picture of Opium can come up then another dose of Opium will help to manage the situation.
  • 41. This change in activity, Thermals and thirst and physical and mental symptoms which are thrown out by the constitution are basically compensatory in nature.
  • 42. It is a natural effort by the organism to provide immunity and restore the sick to health. Therefore very often health is restored without the aid of any medicine- homoeopathic or allopathic. If such recovery does not take place then and then only it calls for an intervention.
  • 43. If required to prescribe, it shall be keeping with our basic law of similimum to the acute totality which of course should be based on activity, thermals , generals like thirst, and food and mentals changed state or attitude (PQRS) and not only on physical symptoms.
  • 44. All the cardinal principles of prescription have to be obeyed ie., one remedy, one dose … then the Hering’s law will be applied… magical speed of recovery will be visible…general sense of well being…no subsequent weakness will ensue…gets back the appetite faster…can resume work earlier…
  • 45. Such results are guaranteed when prescribed on activity, thermals, thirst and mentals that are changed. This is called ACTIVITY-THERMAL-THIRST AND MENTAL AXIS
  • 46. Flow Chart is prepared for simplifying this especially for new Homoeopaths.
  • 47. ACTIVITY DECREASED INCREASED NO CHANGE SLEEP OVER POWERING DULLNESS PHYSICAL RESTLESSNESS MENTAL ANXIETY VERBAL SING VERSES MAKES LOQUACITY CHILLY HOT CHILLY HOT CHILLY HOT THIRSTY THIRSTLESS THIRSTY THIRSTLESS THIRSTY THIRSTLESS THIRSTY THIRSTLESS THIRSTY THIRSTLESS
  • 49. EVERY SECTION IS FURTHER DIVIDED INTO HOT CHILLY
  • 50. FURTHER DIFFERENTIATION IS DONE ON THE BASIS OF THIRSTY THIRSTLESS
