2. Trading Futures involves substantial risk of loss
and is not suitable for all investors. You should
carefully consider whether trading Futures is
suitable for you in light of your circumstances,
knowledge, and financial resources. You may lose
all or more of your initial investment. Consult
your registered financial representative before
investing any of your money. No investing
recommendations are being made in this video,
always trade following your own plan.

Don’t worry, you don’t need to
adjust your volume. There is no
sound for this video.
Since this video is about listening to
the markets, I’ve decided to do it
without audio.

I’m going to share how I listen to
the markets to help inform my
trading.

The Pit
Some traders choose to listen to
the pit to interpret moves. That’s
an obvious one....

#1 Volume
I pay attention to the volume of the market. I
never trade a quiet market, but I also don’t
trade the news.
Just like Goldie Locks and the 3 bears, in the
middle is just right.

#2 Twitter
I’m not listening for others tell me what to
trade, but popular twitter themes usually align
with good volume at that time in the market.
Listening to what motivates others, or knowing
you are connected to a network of people is
helpful.

#3 Trend
I prefer to trade in the same direction as the pro’s.
I don’t trade until I am feeling confident in the trend.
Once I’m confident in the direction, I wait for it to
pull back a little, then trade in the direction of the
trend.
