How did we establish the Genre?
 At first we did not establish our genre, we went a
different way to most films. The beginning of our film
adopted a school theme which conveyed a very calm
tone. Later in our piece however, we changed tone to
convey that of a drama thriller genre.
 This tonal shift helped us draw in the attention of the
audience, preventing them from loosing interest.
Furthermore, the irregular approach to the film helps us
to attract more viewers, and keep the audience
entertained.
How can we identify with the
characters?
 Our idea to use a school as our main focus and
location of the film helps our target audience relate to
the characters in the film. For example, the
headmaster, and the pupils of the school.
 This again encapsulates the audience and draws them
into our piece, and keeps them entertained throughout.
How we established a Cliff Hanger
 Through having a cliff hanger toward the end of our
sequence we were able to maintain the attention of the
audience.
 The unexpected twist was designed to leave the
audience wanting more, and captivates them into the
film.
Addressing the Audience
 We intend to market our film in a variety of different
ways in order to address our audience. From our
market research, we have found that our piece is more
suitable for that of the younger generation, so we have
used Web 2.0 YouTube and multiple movie sites such
as Empire and IMDB to advertise our film. This also
seemed appropriate due to the popularity of the
internet.
