About the Research

Objective

•

In August 2011, we tracked & analyzed 50 random brand pages on Facebook.

•

Out of original 50, two brands had left Facebook by May 2012.

•

This time we revisited those 50 brands to see how they were doing in May 2012
and now (Jan 2014). Both 2012 and 2014 have only 48 brands analyzed.

•

In all cases, last 5 Facebook page and its number of likes and comments were
considered.

•

Liking and Commenting rates are average likes and comments per post
normalized to a million page likes.

•
