This document provides a template for an XMSS lesson plan. It includes sections for the subject area and grade level, lesson title and time allotted, lesson description, classroom layout and student grouping, instructional objectives, materials and technology, students' prior knowledge, instructional procedures including motivation, activities and closure, supplemental activities, assessment and evaluation of student work, student products. The lesson plan template is intended to guide teachers in developing a lesson that uses information and communication technology in teaching and learning.

ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION:
How will you measure the student’s success? Formally or informally? Formal evaluation of student work requires that
a grade is taken while informal might be monitoring of work, or class discussion. This section should contain a
description of the assessment process, the criteria for achievement, and performance levels. The criteria should
directly align to objectives and instruction. Describe your plan for providing feedback to your students.
