human has. Although it has been proven that animals indeed to have feelings and knowledge to their
existence and even causes and effects of life or death, many people in the US still don't agree that
animals should have rights. Many of the people who don't agree are more curious as to what would
happen and the lengths these rights would go for animals and how it would affect the lives of
humans. They laugh at the fact that these rights could possibly apply to all animals even the
smallest ones when it shouldn't be a matter of humor. I think the real reason they laugh is because
they're afraid of what these animals can do that could possibly outsmart humans in any way. These

When forming the government of the United States of America the founders thought all people
within its borders should have certain absolute rights, guaranteed. That's how the bill of rights and
the amendments following were created. Today we fight not just for the rights of people, but also of

beside human beings do not have sophisticated language ability, they have similar emotion sense
like us. I love animals, and I was a volunteer at an animal shelter in Taiwan. One of my cats was

Dr. Flynn, Vice–Chancellor of USC Upstate, presented himself to the Honors 101 class on
Wednesday morning with various important points about animals. Dr. Flynn is passionate about
animal rights thus leading him to spread his message to students about considering animals as
greater beings than we currently value them. He explored issues: anthropomorphism, qualities of
personhood, and similarities between humans and animals. The vice–chancellor began by asking the
