Elokuussa 2015 toteutettiin suomalaisten keskuudessa gallupkysely, missä kartoitettiin suomalaisten tietotasoa ilmastonmuutoksesta ja siitä huolestumisesta. Kyselyyn vastasi yhteensä 1015 henkilöä. This document provides the guidelines and requirements for Project 2 of the Culture & Civilization course. The project involves examining the similarities and differences between Eastern and Western civilizations through researching and analyzing specific timelines.
Students must work in groups to create a visual timeline showing important elements of a given civilization. They will then select an important plot from the timeline to perform for assessment. Individually, students must study a chosen character in detail and demonstrate their understanding through a journal.
The group submission involves a 20-minute performance of a scene from the timeline as well as an A4 report documenting their research. Individual submissions are an A5 journal booklet exploring their character and late submissions will result in reduced marks.
I have been reading volume six of the Testimonies, and I find in this little book instruction that will help us to meet many perplexing questions. How many have read the article “Evangelistic Work” in this volume? I advise that these directions and warnings and cautions be read to our people at some time when they are gathered together. The magazine covers analyze target different audiences.
The first magazine targets older teens and young adults with its mature, half-naked cover image depicting the words "indie" and "10" to celebrate 10 years of indie music. The neutral colors and natural makeup create a relaxed atmosphere relating to the genre.
The second magazine targets a similar 16-25 demographic with its rock/indie band holding bones relating to their new song. The dark clothing and piercings reflect the genre while bright text stands out.
Both magazines effectively use images and text placement focusing on their music genres to attract their intended audiences.
