Public hearing held at the request of a concerned local resident in 2011 regarding substantial environmental contamination in Sellersville, Pennsylvania that has since been declared by the USEPA as both "technically impracticable" of ever being remediated and unfit for surrounding human habitation. This contamination affects both industrial acreage and residential acreage upon which homes were illegally constructed.
Prior to the hearing, said resident uncovered fraudulent environmental testing processes and parameters being utilized (for over 20 years) to provide false confirmation of acceptable contaminant exposure levels relating to human health and welfare. This was brought to light at the public hearing and is documented on pages 9 through 11 of this transcript. The USEPA project manager for the AMETEK U.S. Gauge facility was ill-equipped to handle this unexpected revelation, which was very evident in his response.
