Overview
Following a welcome and briefing by Ian Elliott, Vice President of Defence Capability
Marketing, Airbus Military, there will be a tour of the facilities. This will include an exclusive
opportunity to see the A400M Final Assembly Line. This exclusive site visit also gives you the
unique chance to see their Light and Medium Aircraft Final Assembly line for their C295
and CN235 aircraft. Overall this site visit is designed to provide delegates with a complete
insight into new developments at Airbus and their range of airlift related capability.

Airbus Military is the only military and
civic/humanitarian transport aircraft
manufacturer to develop, produce, sell and
support a comprehensive family of airlifters
ranging from 3 to 45 tonnes of payload.
Airbus Military’s highly versatile product
range includes the robust and service
proven “Light & Medium” family (three to
nine tonnes payload), comprising the C212,
the CN235 and the C295, the all new A400M
airlifter to meet the needs of the 21st
century, as well as the A330 MRTT, the
benchmark in Multi RoleTanker and Transport
aircraft. It also produces and markets a small
Trainer and Aerobatic plane, the Orlik TC-II.
Headquartered in Madrid (Spain), the
company’s facilities are essentially based in
Spain. Its main sites are Getafe, close to
Madrid, where the civil Airbus platforms, such
as the A330, are converted into Multi Role
Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft, and Seville,
where the San Pablo factory, south of the
airport, hosts the A400M Final Assembly Line
opened in 2007, as well as the complete
production and final assembly of the C212,
CN235 and C295 aircraft. Opened in 2010,
the all new Airbus Military Training Centre is
also located close to the San Pablo facility.

Substitutions/Name Changes: If you are unable to attend you may nominate, in writing, another

Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your attendance at an event and you are unable to send a
substitute, then we will refund/credit 50% of the due fee less a £50 administration charge, providing that
cancellation is made in writing and received at least 28 days prior to the start of the event. Regretfully
cancellation after this time cannot be accepted. We will however provide the conferences
documentation via the Document Portal to any delegate who has paid but is unable to attend for any
reason. Due to the interactive nature of the Briefings we are not normally able to provide documentation
in these circumstances. We cannot accept cancellations of orders placed for Documentation or the
Document Portal as these are reproduced specifically to order. If we have to cancel the event for any
reason, then we will make a full refund immediately, but disclaim any further liability.

Substitutions/Name Changes: If you are unable to attend you may nominate, in writing, another delegate to take your place at any time prior to the start of the event. Two or more delegates may not ‘share’ a place at an event. Please make separate bookings for each delegate. Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your attendance at an event and you are unable to send a substitute, then we will refund/credit 50% of the due fee less a £50 administration charge, providing that cancellation is made in writing and received at least 28 days prior to the start of the event. Regretfully cancellation after this time cannot be accepted. We will however provide the conferences documentation via the Document Portal to any delegate who has paid but is unable to attend for any reason. Due to the interactive nature of the Briefings we are not normally able to provide documentation in these circumstances. We cannot accept cancellations of orders placed for Documentation or the Document Portal as these are reproduced specifically to order. If we have to cancel the event for any reason, then we will make a full refund immediately, but disclaim any further liability. Alterations: It may become necessary for us to make alterations to the content, speakers, timing, venue or date of the event compared to the advertised programme.
