- Melissa We’ll start with a poll How many of you are currently using OS Address Layer 2? What tool are you currently using to load OS Address Layer 2? We’ll release the results at the end of the webinar
- Local Authority Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) custodians are allocated sequential batches of UPRNs by GeoPlace. UPRNs are assigned by the LLPG custodian at the creation of a new address. LLPG custodians initially rely on Address Change Intelligence (ACI) provided by the Local Authority Street Naming and Numbering (SNN) Custodian to create new addresses. The SNN has a statutory obligation to provide Street Naming and Numbering information for all addresses within their administrative area. Once the SNN Custodian has fulfilled their statutory obligation, the LLPG custodian will maintain the BLPU and LPI for the life of the record. LLPG Custodian sends address to GeoPlace for validation and inclusion in database.
