2. Łódź Voivodeship Łódź Province is located in the central part of the country - the geometric center is located in the village Piątek in the district Łęczyca. Province lies on the border of two major geomorphological units: the Central Europe Lowlands and Uplands Polish. The northern part of the region is dominated by large and almost flat plains, while in the southern hills.
