Pilot PO Optimization
Technical principles:
The DL dedicated physical channel (DL DPCH) is divided into the dedicated physical data channel (DPDCH) and the dedicated physical
control channel (DPCCH).
The power offsets (POs) of pilot domain are independently configured on the DPCCH and can be optimized.
The default transmit power of the current DL DPCH pilot domain is set to 3 dB based on the transmit power of the data domain.
For a low-rate DL DPCH, such value is a bit high. Especially when no data is transmitted on the DL DPCH of HSDPA UEs, a high Pilot PO
will result in transmit power waste.
We can optimized to 1db to reduce the power consumption;
