  1. 1. ENGLISH PROJECT About the inventors of the world::
  2. 2. ARCHIMEDES Archimedes Archimedes of Syracuse was a Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, astronomer, and inventor from the ancient city of Syracuse in Sicily. Although few details of his life are known, he is regarded as one of the leading scientists in classical antiquity.
  3. 3. ABOUT THE INVENSION OF ARCHIMEDES Archimedes was a prodigy in the field of mathematics and science, where he pushed the boundaries of both subjects to obtain a profound result through careful research, calculation, and observation. He is known as the ‘father of mathematical physics’, and the ‘father of integral calculus’, quite rightly. Let’s take a look at how the inventions of Archimedes have paved a way for modernized versions of his works. The speculations surrounding this incident are aplenty, but one can draw a conclusion that at least one of the methods is true according to Archimedes’ discovery of the impure gold crown. The story goes like this, Hiero II who was the king of Syracuse, summoned Archimedes to test the pureness of a gold crown because he suspected that the goldsmith hadn’t used a 100% pure gold in its making. The crown, which was in the shape of wreath, was often placed on statues of either a god or a goddess.
  4. 4. WRIGHT BROTHERS The Wright brothers, Orville Wright (August 19, 1871 – January 30, 1948) and Wilbur Wright (April 16, 1867 – May 30, 1912), were American aviation pioneers generally credited with inventing, building, and flying the world's first successful motor-operated airplane. They made the first controlled, sustained flight
  5. 5. Abou the invention of the wright brothers The Wright brothers were two Americans who are widely credited with inventing and building the world's first flyable airplane and making the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight on December 17, 1903. In 1906, the Wrights received a U.S. patent for their method of flight control.
  6. 6. BENJAMIN FRANKLIN Benjamin Franklin FRS FRSA FRSE (January 17, 1706 [O.S. January 6, 1705] – April 17, 1790) was an American polymath who was active as a writer, scientist, inventor, statesman, diplomat, printer, publisher, and political philosopher. Among the leading intellectuals of his time, Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers
  7. 7. About the invention of benjamin franklin Another Benjamin Franklin invention was the “Franklin Stove”, also known as the wood stove or furnace stove. It was made to avoid using open flame to heat homes during the frigid American winters. In Franklin’s day, houses were made of just wood, which was not adequate for insulation, allowing cold air in. To keep warm, people would build very dangerous, open fires in their houses. Ben did not like the idea of such a danger in his house, so he decided to fix it. He built a cast iron box to put his fire in. As a result, the iron would heat up and create more heat than the open fire. This way he heated his house with less risk, and with less wood. Benjamin Franklin had invented the first iron furnace.

  9. 9. About the invention of the henry ford Henry Ford (July 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947) was an American industrialist, business magnate, founder of the Ford Motor Company, and chief developer of the assembly line technique of mass production. By creating the first automobile that middle-class Americans could afford, he converted the automobile from an expensive luxury into an accessible conveyance that profoundly impacted the landscape of the 20th century. His introduction of the Ford Model T automobile revolutionized transportation and American industry. As the Ford Motor Company owner, he became one of the richest and best-known people in the world. He is credited with "Fordism", the mass production of inexpensive goods coupled with high wages for workers. Ford had a global vision, with consumerism as the key to peace. His intense commitment to systematically lowering costs resulted in many technical and business innovations, including a franchise system that put dealerships throughout North America and major cities on six continents. Ford left most of his vast wealth to the Ford Foundation and arranged for his family to permanently control it. Ford's antisemitic views, which drew on a long tradition of false allegations against Jews, have been well-documented. He promoted antisemitic content, including The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, through his newspaper The Dearborn Independent, and his book, The International Jew. In July 1938, four months after the German annexation of Austria, Ford accepted the highest medal that Nazi Germany bestowed on a foreigner, the Grand Cross of the Order of the German Eagle
