A student that has a disability that causes
  difficulty with learning and functioning
 Some type of disabilities that may interfere
  with learning
  Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
  Cognitive challenges
  Autism
  Hearing and Visual impairment
  Speech or Language impairment
 To
help students learn that have a hard time,
we as teachers can use Assistive Technology.

 Assistive Technology: any item, piece of
 equipment or product system, whether
 acquired commercially off the shelf,
modified or customized, that is used to
 increase, maintain or improve the
 functional capabilities of individuals with
 disabilities
 Through these types of technology, we are
able to enhance the student’s learning
  abilities.
 All assistive devices do not require
  technology
 By adding a something to the ends of pages
in a book to make it easier to turn the page
or creating a quiet space for a student to
  concentrate will help them.
 Video/Audio tapping classroom lessons
 Using Tablets (Word Processor)
 Text to Speech Software
 Hearing Aids
 Large Printed Books or Braille
 Multimedia Software
 Hereare a few lesson plans that can
 be used in the classroom

 Digital Nature Journal: Create a journal that
allows the students to write about the topic for
     that specific week

 Communication: Do you Hear what I See: This
is an active that will include the Visual
     Impaired Students.
