Previously known as SOS telephone for children and youth, AloBushavko offers psycho-social support
for children and youth as well as for adults on various topics related to children. The helpline first began
operating in 1993 in response to many reports of child rights violations. AloBushavko is a children’s friend
available at any time for any issue, dilemmas, questions, and challenges that children and young people
are facing. The team consists of psychologists, pedagogues, social workers, teachers, and volunteers. The
continuity in the operation of the helpline is very important for the First Children’s Embassy in the World
Megjashi and we are happy that with the support of many companies, institutions, and citizens, it works
without interruptions.

The team of the First Children’s Embassy in the World - Megjashi monitors public policies, trends and
developments and reacts to reports received on violations of children’s rights. During its 30 years of
operation, there were more than 1500 articles in the press, public reactions, and over 1825 TV appearances,
to put pressure on the institutions for greater promptness, responsibility, caution, and dedication in the work
related to children and their rights.
Help and support service of socio-economically vulnerable categories has been operating for more than 10
years within the framework of the First Children’s Embassy in the World -Megjashi. Thanks to donations from
the local population, we can help with clothes and shoes for those in need. Approximately in a month this
service generates 20 donations of clothes and shoes, while about 100 people per month, come and choose
from the donated clothes and shoes. In 2021, within this service we also had donations of bakery products, by
the bakeries Vatasha and Broadway.
Previously known as a sector for promotion and sustainability, or a fundraising sector, today the main activities
are aimed at organizational development and sustainability. The sector has developed a strategy for financial
sustainability for 2022-2024, in which the future activities and objectives of the sector are defined. Within the sector,
there is a business plan for development of a social enterprise.
