I arrived in Dresden, Germany today to begin my trip exploring eastern Germany. As the capital city of Saxony, Dresden sits along the Elbe River and is known for its Baroque architecture and many art museums due to its history as a cultural center. I look forward to visiting some of Dresden's top attractions over the next few days like the Zwinger Palace and the Frauenkirche church.
