– the audience see scars
on arm/wrist
We show his journey from the party
– on the way he walks past a family
and looks at them as he passes by.
When she arrives at the door
she is reluctant to go inside
when she sees (car/TV)
We split the screen three
ways and we seem them
leaving the party and
walking down the street in
different directions.
When he gets home he
shuts the door and
slides down to the
ground. – Story is open
to interpretation.
He arrives at the
graveyard and
walks down the
path– long shots.
Gets home and
realises that someone
is home – alcohol on
table and tv on –
possible pain killers on
table
Sat in Café late
at night alone

2. It’s the next day and the characters are seen to be waking up. Nothing is addressed from the night before.
Scene comes from cut
scene to aerial shot to
mid shot - Abdallah gets
off the bench and puts
the bottle in the bin
Emma gets up and gets ready and chooses a
shirt that covers the bruises. It’s obvious that
there are new bruises that weren’t there the
night before.
Emma takes her jacket
off puts it on a hook
showing her bruises –
make it evident for later
that she has new bruises
Abdallah sleeping

Sat at home
stressed and shuts
door - cuts
Brandon is seen at a bus
stop but the audience are
unaware of where he is
going.
Another three-way spilt screen is
used to show Brandon at the bus
stop and the other two characters
walking, the audience are still
unaware of where they are going
All three characters are seen to be
meeting up with each other. They are
all friends with each other, but this
isn’t revealed until the end of the
music video.
