there's a practice, policy or rule

same way, but it has a worse effect
on some people than others.
 The Equality Act says it puts you
at a particular disadvantage.

For example, height, weight, body shape,
disfigurement,skin condition, scar or
birthmark.
Also Known As Lookism is a term used to
describe discriminatory treatment towards
physically unattractive people

the complex system of social

Hinduism.

EXAMPLE!
 You are Muslim and you wear traditional
clothing.
 You call about an apartment and it is
available.
 When you show up to look at it, the
landlord says it is rented, but ad continues to
run in the newspaper. “For Rent”
 It is illegal to deny someone an apartment
because of their religion — or for any other
prohibited ground.
