In Q2/2015 the German Telecoms-Market showed growth again. The major Mobile-Operators grew their aggregated Customer Base by more than 70,000 Customers. In Fixedline, the 5 largest Operators increased their Customer Base by more than 220,000 DSL- and Cable-Connections.

Mobile - In Q2/2015, the number of SIM-cards on the German market rose again to 112,4 mil. customers after 2 quarters of decline - Telefonica with O2/ePlus showed strongest growth with 438,000 new SIMs, Deutsche Telekom grew by 265,000 SIMs - After losses in Q1/2015, Vodafone lost another 628,000 SIM-cards in Q2/2015 Fixed-line Broadband - Deutsche Telekom showed strongest growth with 81,000 new DSL-subscribers to 12,5 mil. customers - With 70,000 new broadband customers, Kabel Deutschland/Vodafone grew 2nd fastest, but slower than Deutsche Telekom – growth was fueled by Kabel Deutschland acquiring 102,000 new subscribers and a decline of -32,000 in Vofafone‘s DSL-offerings - United Internet remains on position 3 with 4,3m DSL-lines, up 29,000 - Telefonica continued DSL line-losses with -13,000 DSL customers in Q2/2015 German Telecoms Market Update Q2/2015 at a Glance
